Native Plant Life
Over the past years, a series of successful restoration projects have led to the restoration of over 180 acres of degraded wetlands within the Preserve into functioning floodplain habitat. This restored habitat supports a diversity of native plant communities and creates ideal conditions for the recovery of plant and animal species that are endangered, threatened or protected.
