No. The City of Hillsboro coordinates all volunteers at Jackson Bottom. Please contact the City of Hillsboro to learn more about their robust volunteer program.
The most reliable method is via U.S. mail at PO Box 3552, Hillsboro, OR 97123. The board does have an email address (jbwpreserve@gmail.com), but it is only checked semi-monthly.
The non-profit greatly supports education programs at Jackson Bottom. One recent example is our contribution (both financial and volunteer hours) to the new exhibit hall.
The non-profit greatly supports the restoration work in the wetlands. We are a committed part of the joint partnership that works on wetland restoration projects with the common goal of connecting water, wildlife, and people. We contribute funding to support specific projects.
